What is CrossFit?

CrossFit® is a back-to-basics approach to exercise. Each CrossFit exercise and workout can be scaled and/or modified to individual ability. Become a well-rounded athlete with an ability to function in all areas of fitness with CrossFit training.

Our program includes:
– Weightlifting
– Endurance training
– Gymnastics (body weight movements)
– Core strength
– General agility

Our Workout of the Day (WOD) is ever changing, working different muscles and body parts with each new routine. This not only keeps your workouts fresh, it also keeps your body from hitting a plateau. Your body will continue to improve as you put in the work.

Our high impact workouts are designed to be completed in a punctuated amount of time. Most workouts range from 12-45 minutes.

About Lamorinda CrossFit

Lamorinda CrossFit is located in the heart of Lafayette CA. It has been providing excellent, life changing fitness since November 2009.

At LCF (“The Cave” as we sometimes call it), you will not find any machine—we provide a functional type of fitness which includes the use of free weights, kettle bells, climbing ropes, pull up bars, sleds, and many other tools to improve your fitness level.

Workouts are always varied—you’ll never get bored.

Intrigued by CrossFit but hesitant to try? Join us for a free give-CrossFit-a-try class–available on select Saturdays at 10am (look for it on the schedule here). This fun, informative session consists of instruction on movement safety followed by an exciting bodyweight workout. No experience required!
